A few things to know.
Will I spar as a beginner?
Beginners may not spar until approved by an instructor. Let your coach know it is your first class so they can explain the activities and help you get started.
When does my 7-day intro program begin?
Your seven days begin on your first day of attendance. You can enroll online before choosing your first class.
How many classes can I attend during my intro?
All classes for your age group are included, with unlimited attendance during your seven days. Class schedules and age eligibility apply; ages 10–12 use coach placement for Kids or Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Will I automatically become a member after my intro?
No. Your intro does not automatically enroll you in an ongoing membership. You decide whether to continue after your introductory week.
Do I need experience?
No. Beginners are welcome. Enroll in your intro online, choose a class for your age group and program, and let your coach know it is your first class when you arrive.
Which program is best for my child?
Mat-Maniacs is for ages 4–7, Kids is for ages 8–12, and Youth is for ages 10–15. Ages 10–12 may join Kids or Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu based on coach placement. Youth Muay Thai Kickboxing is for ages 10–15.
What should I bring to my first class?
Wear comfortable workout clothes. No equipment is needed for your trial, and free loaner equipment is available.
Can parents watch classes?
Parents are welcome to watch from our designated viewing area, available for all classes.
How do I get started?

Membership questions
Am I locked into an annual contract?
No. Monthly memberships are month-to-month with no annual contract. An optional annual prepay discount is available for eligible individual memberships; contact us for its payment terms.
Can I change my membership plan?
Yes. You can change your membership plan at any time. Call, text, or speak with our team in person to arrange your change.
Are there enrollment or belt promotion fees?
Legacy does not charge enrollment or belt promotion fees. Free loaner equipment is available for your 7-day intro program. Uniforms and personal equipment are sold separately.
How do I cancel my membership?
Cancellation requires 15 days’ advance written notice through our cancellation form. Contact the academy for the form and confirmation of your final billing date.
Is there a cancellation fee?
No. There is no cancellation fee. The 15-day written notice requirement still applies, and any dues owed through the applicable notice period remain payable.
Are family membership options available?
Yes. Choose Family Unlimited or individual plans with 25% off each additional immediate family member in the same household. The highest-priced individual plan is billed at full price.
Can I save by paying for a year in full?
Yes. Save 20% on eligible individual memberships when you prepay 12 months by cash, check, debit card, or credit card. Family plans and other discounted rates are excluded, and discounts cannot be combined. Annual prepay is optional; monthly memberships remain month-to-month with no annual contract.
Do you offer military and public safety discounts?
Yes. Special membership pricing is available for eligible military and public safety professionals, including ER and trauma nurses and physicians. View the eligibility details, then call, text, or visit Legacy for pricing.
Do you offer a member referral reward?
Yes. Members earn a $50 credit toward their monthly membership for each referral who becomes a full member. Purchasing a 7-day intro program alone does not qualify. There is no monthly limit on qualifying referral credits.
